Boston, MA – October 20, 2012 – There’s nothing more telling these days than the cool, crisp air felt throughout New England in the morning that fall has arrived and winter is around the corner. As many homeowners across the Northeast were soaking up their days in the summer sun over these past few months, Agency Oasis was hard at work in collaborating with their client, Smart Click Energy, to prepare for the upcoming home heating oil season.
Smart Click Energy, established in 2010, is a leading provider of home heating and cooling services across the Northeast. This past summer, Smart Click Energy approached Oasis in anticipation of high volume and resource demands on their Administrative and Customer Service Representative System. As they continue to provide quality service to their large audience of homeowners, Smart Click Energy wanted to create an interactive interface where their team of Admin and CSR representatives could login to help customers with questions, check on orders and update general site data such as heating oil prices. Agency Oasis met this challenge by not only meeting, but exceeding the client’s expectations.
During this seasons enhancements, Agency Oasis worked on two major components. First, they focused on developing an Administrative and Customer Service Representative Interface that allowed for user based roles upon login to view pieces of information as it pertained to the business. Second, Oasis made a handful of updates to the Sitecore CMS to allow for a faster flow of data as the information was requested on the front-end Administrative Interface. Such improvements to the CMS and data flow would allow CSR representatives to communicate with the respective Smart Click customers more quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, these improvements would give the Smart Click Administrative team the ability to fulfill business processes in a more seamless manner.
