For the second year in a row and coupled with a 2013 Sitecore MVP award, our fourth, Agency Oasis has been nominated and awarded with the Sitecore Site of the Year designation for our work with McGuireWoods law firm.
McGuireWoods approached Oasis with very clear and well defined business problems which spanned audiences from clients and prospective clients to internal stakeholders in marketing and at the executive level to attorney's themselves.
What was derived was a system that created a centralized location for all data for the company at a business and marketing level; allowing a information flow which brought the management steps from over ten to less than three.
Additionally, specific enhancements to the Sitecore platform where created allowing for custom actions on the site specific to the user engaging. Rather than tie the role to authentication, custom actions are tied to IP restrictions so that there is less day to day and overhead costs around authentication and user management.
Additionally, with their mobile traffic climbing steadily and an awareness of their 'on the go' clientele and personnel, a specific and thoughtful mobile execution was launched in tandem to increase user confidence and data access while away from a desktop. Purposefully done with the idea of growth in mind, the mobile features are limited in scope in the initial iteration so that analytics on user action can drive higher value with subsequent releases, an approach recommended by Oasis and adopted with fervor by the firm.
Oasis Vice President Jason Fields said of the award, "It's always great to be recognized by the organization that builds the platform we extend. In this case we found that the result for the client was exponentially greater than what could have been done with competing products and escalated the maturity of the McGuireWoods technical resources significantly."
This is the second Sitecore Site of the Year Award for Agency Oasis in addition to their Four Sitecore MVP awards as well as CEP, CRM and eCommerce Certifications.
