Agency Oasis today announced the addition of Dan Hackett. In this role, Dan is responsible for building and maintaining Oasis’ regional presence and oversees all business activities for nine western states.
His experience within Digital spans 13+ years in a variety of development and client-facing roles. Most recently, Dan worked at Acquity Group, part of Accenture Interactive, as a Group Account Director for five years. His primary responsibilities were to drive a full suite of agency and technology-related services for clients seeking to improve its digital business capabilities. Dan consistently was recognized as the top regional field producer and signed numerous new brands such as Southern California Edison, Oakley, Illumina, Belkin, IHS Global, Auto Insurance Specialists, Epson, Toshiba, and HID Global, to name a few.
“We could not be more excited about this hire,” said Chris Crombie, SVP of Agency Oasis. “Dan has a stellar track record of acquiring and growing market share on the west coast. We had an extensive search for this role, and we think that we found exactly what we were looking for.”
Before his tenure at Acquity Group/Accenture, Dan worked at Day Software in a variety of direct selling and channel roles. Day Software was purchased by Adobe. Its original WCM platform, CQ, was the precursor to Adobe’s AEM platform today.
Prior to his business career, Dan represented Team USA and competed in both the Atlanta 96’ and Sydney 00’ Summer Games in the sport of water polo. During a 10 year stint on the US National Team, Dan earned gold medals at both the Pan American Games (95’ & 99’) and World Championships (97’.)
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCLA where he was also a four year water polo letterman, two-time All-American, and captain his senior year. In his spare time, you can find Dan with family and friends, behind a grill, traveling the globe, or competing in long distance ocean paddling events.
