FootJoy, the #1 shoe and golf glove company in the golf industry was looking to connection with their customer base by creating an online community website where they could share product information and allow users to interact with the company - and each other.

Together with Agency Oasis, the team identified key target audiences with the most opportunity for growth. Agency Oasis developed a strategic communication plan to engage these core consumers, create closer connections with the FootJoy brand. and ultimately grow the consumer database.
Agency Oasis recommended creating an online community destination for FootJoy fans and golf enthusiasts to connect, share experiences and engage with the brand on a more personal level. Together, Agency Oasis and FootJoy developed the FJ Ambassador Program - a loyalty initiative designed to reward the most active community members with exclusive opportunities to trial new FootJoy products before they are released to the public. Members would also gain access to exclusive giveaways and limited edition FJ Ambassador gear. The website is built on Telligent, an industry standard community platform and integrated Agency Oasis creative concepts for a robust community site.
FootJoy's fully-customized community experience is tightly integrated with FootJoy's existing legacy systems within the FootJoy.com infrastructure. The new feature-rich community boasts over 10,000 members who visit on an average of 5 times per week. The site includes blogs, forums, peer-to-peer messaging and profile personalization in addition to a custom loyalty program.
